PIPPO INSTRUCTIONS
The Aim of the Game
____________________
A classic, addictive arcade puzzle game with 32 levels. The object of the game
is to change the current colour the screen by bouncing on each square and
without throwing yourself off the edge or falling down a hole. You must also
beware of the guardians.
HINTS & TIPS
Collect bonus points by jumping on the guardians when they change to bouncing
springs (this happens when you eat the energy pill) - they will only stay as
springs for 30 seconds.
Gain an extra life by bouncing on the character that looks like Pippo. The
Smiling Face changes the screen colour back to its original colour - stop him by
bouncing on him.
All 8 levels have 4 phases, making the game 32 phases long.
On level 1 change the screen colour once.
On level 2 change the screen colour twice and so on.
The colour that the screen must be changed to is always shown in the bottom
right hand corner.

EXTRA TIPS (NOT IN INSTRUCTIONS)
I loved this game when it came out. It had multi-channel music, sampled speech,
full screen numbers using the border area and cute graphics. Simple, but nice to
play on a rainy day.
When you get to level 3 you don't need to change each square 3 times - you can
get away with only doing it once. Effectively the game XORs the colour of each
square in level 3 and beyond - so every time you go over the square it
alternates between two colours. In Level 4 you only need to change each square
twice and so on.
