Why buy instead of playing for free? The basic version has only two ships available for players, whereas Elite version gives you unrestricted access to all the ships for the whole Early Access phase - those already in the game and those that we're still working on. You'll see them first, you'll try them first, you'll master them before everyone else.
What's more - Elite players will earn Reputation much faster. And the Reputation points are needed for the customisation of everything in your game. So buy the Elite version - and truly OWN the space!
