Cuore 1 (c) 1997 C.M.C.
A video poker game with a difference. Instead of cards of clubs, spades, hearts or diamonds, you aim to make the best hand with hearts of different numbers and colours. It also has a higher/lower to add to your winnings.

- 0.110u5: Roberto Fresca added color PROMs to cuoreuno and elephfam sets but still no routed. Also added PLDs (protected, bad dumps). Wired and decoded the color prom in cuoreuno and elephfam sets. Now colors are perfect. Changed AY8910 clock speed to 2MHz. Swapped gfx1 roms, added prom ($0) and 4x 'Unknown' dipswitches.
- 28th October 2006: Roberto Fresca - In fact, graphics are 4bpp. Cuore 1 palette was rewritten. Colors are now very close to the original games. Here a side-by-side comparison.
- 22nd October 2006: Roberto Fresca - I recreated the Cuore 1 colors thanks to some screenshots that MAME Italia guys kindly sent some time ago. It seems to be a 5th color in the Joker, that means GFX are at least 3bpp instead of two. I need to verify more closely. For now is close to the original game. The test mode is now working properly...
- 0.109u3: Roberto Fresca fixed Cuore 1 - Game now playable. Changed description to 'Cuore 1 (Italia)'. Added dipswitches 'Test Mode' and 7x 'Unknown'.
- 18th October 2006: Roberto Fresca - I have Cuore 1 and Elephant Family working. All inputs were hooked and managed to pass the initial check. Now both sets are completely playable. The "Payout" button isn't working due to hopper and ticket stats are always 0 (empty). Colors are still wrong due to lack of color PROMs. If you can contribute providing some pictures of these games running, please contact me here or through the MAMEworld.info forums.
- 0.102u5: Roberto Fresca corrected videoram & colorram offset in Cuore Uno and Elephant Family and set CPU freq. in both sets to 2 MHz, since the main CPU is a R65C02P2. Still not working. Replaced M65SC02 CPU1 with M65C02 (2MHz).
- 0.99u8: Roberto Fresca added Cuore Uno (Italia) (bootleg? 1997).
- 3rd September 2005: Corrado Tomaselli and f205v dumped Cuore Uno (italian).
