Steel Force (c) 1994 Electronic Devices.
A futuristic-themed, maze based shoot-em-up in which one or two players must battle through an alien-infested space station in a desperate hunt for the level's exit. Weapon power-ups, ammunition and health packs are dotted around the levels to assist players in their task.

Developed in cooperation with Ecogames S.L. (Spain).
Electronic Devices is now called 'Elettronica Video Games'. They are still based in their original location and now import arcade games into Italy.
Steel Force is an almost direct copy of the famous 1991 Commodore Amiga shoot-em-up, "Alien Breed"; released by UK-based software house, 'Team 17'. The characters movements and the game's graphical style is almost identical to the Amiga game.

- 0.88: Pierpaolo Prazzoli fixed PORT_BIT 10. It is IPT_VBLANK and this fixed scroll issue in attract mode. Fixed sprite glitches with visible flag and added rows scroll.
- 6th March 2003: David Haywood fixed the red/blue color channels in Steel Force.
- 17th December 2002: Nicola Salmoria fixed a bug in the OKIM6295 sound chip emulation that caused samples being played erroneously in Got-cha and Steel Force, and he sent in a driver for Got-cha.
- 0.58: David Haywood added Steel Force Electronic Devices Italy / Ecogames S.L. Spain 1994).
- 4th February 2002: David Haywood sent in a driver for Steel Force, and Stephane Humbert fixed the inputs in it.
STORY:
- The Federation has expanded his power across the galaxy. Trading between the worlds has been peacefully for a long time. But now... the pirates are breaking down the peace. Now his secret base has been discovered, and is the time to stop them.
